We've opened a new section on SourceForge for language files for XOOPS 2.3.x



Please check the existing translations, and let us know about any problems. Also, if your language files are missing, please help us with the translation.



You can use the "lang_tool" module for it, which you can download from here, however, I've been told that it works only for ISO translations.



But we'll need both ISO and UTF-8 translations. You can save the ISO file as UTF-8 file using notepad++, but make sure that you select in "Format" menu, the "Convert to UTF-8 without BOM" option.

Ja foi lançado uma nova versão de atualização para o XOOPS 2.3.1 RC

Que um das principais melhorias foi na instalação, onde esta na na criação do Banco de Dados no item Collation que não tinha uma opção fixa para o português Brasil, e tinha que usar um do alteranativo como o latin1 (cp1252 West European), e agora pode se usar o none para este fim

The XOOPS Development Team is pleased to announce the release of XOOPS 2.31 RC.



This release is mainly focused on bug fixes for XOOPS 2.30 release according to community feedbacks.

A couple of bugs in upgrade scripts from 2.2 to 2.3 have been fixed, as well as profile field access problems.

Meanwhile XOOPS news aggregator has been improved for non UTF-8 charset websites, multiple feeds are enabled.

The XOOPS development team is looking forward to community feedbacks to reach a final release as soon as possible.

Visão Geral



Formulize é um módulo para XOOPS que permite criar formulários em seu website: seus usuários

podem preenchê-los e você, subseqüentemente, pode ver, fazer buscas, classificar e analizar os

dados gerados. Ele possui também um gerador de relatórios que permite a você salvar diferentes

"visões" dos dados para referência futura, ou mesmo para publicar visões para outros usuários

do site.



Formulize também possui um sistema de "telas" que permite personalizar a aparência do módulo,

tornando agradáveis quaisquer aplicações que você venha a construir. Comece lendo na seção

abaixo sobre como alterar a tela "Lista de Entradas".



Formulize inclui várias funções que podem ser incluídas para saída do módulo. Então, se você é

um desenvolvedor ou webmaster, e quer criar em seu website Xoops uma aplicação personalizada,

Formulize foi testado com versões do Xoops até 2.0.16.

Formulize não necessariamente trabalhará com o ramo 2.2 do Xoops.







Instalação



Instalação Nova



1. Descompacte os arquivos do módulo e suba-os para o seu servidor.



2. Mude a permissão da pasta export do módulo Formulize para permissão de escrita

(777 no Unix/Linux).



3. Instale o core patch que é usado pelo Formulize. Instale os arquivos do patch

nas mesmas pastas relativas a eles em seu site Xoops . O patch tem um arquivo para

a pasta /include/ e um para a pasta /class/xoopsform/.

Nota: você não tem que instalar o patch (Formulize irá funcionar sem ele) mas é

recomendável que instale, pois ele simplesmente provê um muito melhor comportamento

para os elementos caixa de data. Se você não incluí-lo, terá que adicionar uma tag

Smart ao arquivo theme.html principal do seu site. Adicione <{$calendarjs}> na seção

<head></head> do arquivo theme.html. O local recomendado é imediatamente após as tags

<title></title>. Após fazer isso, limpe a pasta templates_c.



4. Instale o módulo normalmente, a partir de Administração do Sistema -> Módulos, no lado

da administração de seu site Xoops.

The WebShow module for the XOOPS content management system combines a media directory with Jeroen Wijering's JW Media Player to catalog and play Flash media files, directories and webfeeds. WebShow is also a web feed generator that will read and filter a media directory, generate an XSPF playlist and publish a web feed link.

Another month, and another issue of the WOX (World of XOOPS) Newsletter (see here previous versions) Month of September was a very busy month for us - with new XOOPS 2.3 being finally released!!!!
